With the weather quickly warming up(yay!) I figured I better blog a a photo shoot I took when there was lots of snow on the ground. Many people tell me they would rather have snow over the cold and I think they're crazy! Yes, warmer weather is ideal...but I would rather put on a cute, cozy sweater than have to trudge around Dubuque with snow up to my knees and have the snow ruin roads and plans. To each his own I guess!
The snow let up a little bit for this wonderful mini session I had with Rachel. She is a senior at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa. She is very active in school and involved in a lot of things. She's in soccer and choir just to name a few. Rachel is so sweet and easy going- I loved photographing her! She plans to attend Iowa State and I know she can accomplish anything she wants to. Unique fact: She loves listening to the Oldies!
She was such a trooper in the cold and was down to try anything- my favorite client ;) I loved the bold red lip that she totally rocked. She has a beautiful, natural smile but does a great "serious look"...is there anything she can't do?? Make sure you look at her eyes on the close ups...they are a beautiful color I've never seen before!
I brought out a couple floral crowns I made and I LOVE the way they look! You can expect to be seeing more of these this spring ;)
With the weather getting nicer(I can go outside without a coat!) it has me thinking of some fun styled photo shoots...stay tuned for those! In the meantime, enjoy these! Ooohhh....looks like a Russian beauty to me!
